So this week was just great =) The work is awesome!!! I love being a missionary!!! Ush!!!

So this week went well. On Monday night we were walking to our house when some girl (13 years old) comes up to us and asks where the nearest mormon church is... we gladly responded and we put an appointment to return. Later in the week we went and they all had read the pamphlet that we had left and all wanted to go to church (a family of 6!) It was a great miracle for us that we could be blessed with new people to teach =) Then on Tuesdaywe went with Mauricio and Esther, it was our second lesson and we were able to place baptismal dates with them =) Those were the highlights of the week, the rest of the week we were basically looking for new investigators so that we can be teaching a lot of people =) I love it here it's the best! All those that are preparing for a mission should be excited, it's awesome!

Sorry this is short but I just wanted to share those 2 things with you guys, talk to you later!

So last week was Semana Santa, or in other words, everyone remembers that they are catholics and if they aren't catholics they are at the beach, and if they aren't at the beach they are in their houses watching bible movies, yeah, it's awesome here =)

So I started the week off by picking up my new comp, Elder Ortega. He is from San Pedro Sula, Honduras. He's pretty cool. He's a convert of 2 years, he has 6 months in the mission, and he's a very good missionary. He's very excited to work and we are going to have a lot of success =)

We started out the week recieving many references, finding news, and putting baptismal dates with people (we are now hoping to have about 10 baptisms in May =) We are finding many new families here and the members are really excited to work which is awesome. And then finally on Saturday (the rest of the week went alright, not great because of semana santa, but ok) the whole day went perfectly as planned! =) We taught Edgar (a newish investigator whose son recently died) Well the lesson went very well and he accepted a baptismal date and even said that he is going to take a friend to church with him... awesome! And we also started to plan a mission activity here that we think is going to help the ward a ton! We are hoping to get a lot of references, help the members be more active and increase the church attendance, it should be a really good activity.

Yeah, that was basically my week, it went well, we were able to do more than I thought we were going to so I'm happy =) Thanks for listening, love you all!

P.S. Edgar, after finishing the lesson gave us a ton of fruit, jaja, papaya, mangos, watermelon, cantaloupe, bananas, etc. It was so random and funny we had no idea what to do with all of it.

-My comp got changed, I'm with an elder from Honduras, Elder Ortega, he has 6 months in the mission.

-I'm excited, he's ready to work and can't wait to get started, I think it'll be really good.

So this week not much happened. I got sick and so we had to stay home. And also we watched conference which was really good. That was basically our week. We did go out to teach, but it was a fairly average week. But I was able to learn a lot from conference and I hope to be able to apply what I have learned. I know that all that they said is true and that it will truly help us to be better. I love you all, see ya later.

So I had a very good week, and this week should be awesome too, why? It's semana santa! The week that everyone remembers that they are catholics! Yeah! It's going to be so fun!!! So I don't have a lot of time today, so this is going to be a little short.

The biggest news was on Wednesday and Thursday. On Wednesday we went to contact someone that I had previously met in a bus. Well when we got there he wasn't there, but 2 of his children were, so we talked with the kids (adults) and they already accepted to go to church!!! It was awesome, then that night we went with David, a reference from a member. We only taught the first two points from lesson 1 (I hope you guys study Preach My Gospel =) and then challenged him to baptism and he accepted! Then on Thursday we did divisions with members the whole day. I had about the best day of the mission, we found 9 new investigators and we were able to completely adapt to the needs of our investigators and members, it was fantastic! And then on Sunday, we had 4 investigators in church! Hallelujah! They are all progressing well and we are hoping to see some baptisms soon.

Also, I had an interview with Pres. Wilkinson on Tuesday. He says that I have changed a lot and that I now have a different spirit about me, it made me feel good, I am really trying to change =) I learned a lot from him and hope to be better every day.

And that's about it for this week, everything is going great, I can't wait to make things go even better, love you all, see ya later!
