14 And their arm shall be my arm, and I will be their ashield and their buckler; and I will gird up their loins, and they shall fight manfully for me; and their benemies shall be under their feet; and I will let cfall the dsword in their behalf, and by the efire of mine indignation will I preserve them.

So I wasn't paying attention, I got bored and the time went away so I forgot to write... sorry.

But this week we had a good week, we had many lessons, we found 13 new investigators =) And things are going good. We are starting to see how we can work better with the ward leaders and I think that all are going to start working more with the missionaries!!! This is a great area and we are hoping to have 7 baptisms in September, hopefully everything works out, see ya later!!!

This week went well, we had many lessons, we were able to talk with lots of new people and we got several references... AWESOME!!!

So on Tuesday we had a Multi-zone meeting in the morning. It was a great experience and I was able to learn quite a bit =) Afterwards we did divisions and I went to Garabito with Elder Hernandez. Everything went well we just had a little situation that I will talk about after the mission =) Then on Wednesday we did divisions again and I went to my area with Elder Herrera. We had a good day and that night a family gave us dinner, spaghetti with green sauce =) It sounds really weird but it was really good, I'll have to learn how to do it.  On Thursday it was a very normal day... On Friday it was pretty normal... I don't know, it was Mother's Day so everyone was home with family, I did eat twice and we ate cake twice too. Then on Saturday we did divisions with members and we were able to have 8 lessons that day and also we played soccer at 6 and a member took some investigators =) Thenon Sunday we were able to see a baptism (re-admission). That was pretty cool. And then we went to a member's house and I learned to make pupusas.

We contacted several buses this week, it was pretty cool, we talked with a ton of people. Yep, good week. I'll talk to you next week, later!

Love,

Pura Vida, Feliz dia de la Madre...aqui

So things here went pretty well this last week. We had the best numbers that we've had as a companionship this week, so everything's cool.

I don't have much time to write. But this week, we worked well. We had 31 lessons with people this week (that's good here). We found 7 new investigators, recieved many references... everythings pretty cool.

The cool experience of the week was that we were walking in the street when a little girl looked at us and shouted, "The guardians of the galaxy!!!! What are you guys doing here? You should be in heaven!!!!" jaja I started thinking... wow, we truly are the guardians of the galaxy, we are doing the work to save everyone here. Many times we don't realize the power we have, I would just like everyone to think of your responsibilites as members of the church. Well, I'll talk to you all next week, you guys are freaking awesome!!!

Monday August 4th

This week went alright, we were able to have some decent numbers.

So on Tuesday we were having a slow day. We were really close to the apartment at 8:30 and my comp says, "let's just see how this guy is doing", it was a guy that they had given a book of mormon and then didn't know anything about him. We passed by and talked to the guy. It turned out that he's already into 2 Nephi without anyone having to say anything!!! Golden!!! And then on Thursday we went with a family that was a reference from members here (they're neighbors) and the lesson went really well, they were really interested in the Plan of Salvation, what their purpose truly is in this life. So we talked a little bit about that and in the end challenged them to baptism and they accepted =) Hopefully they will be baptized this month =) That's the spiritual cool stuff that happened this week, so now for the funny things.

So on Tuesday... we got robbed =) Some guy started talking to us and then after talking about how he wanted to go on a mission and stuff like that (he was a little drugged) he asked for money. In the end my comp gave him money (30 cents) and his watch so that he wouldn't rob me (cause that day I had the cell phone and more money). We weren't that threatened, the truth is that it was pretty funny.

And yesterday I contacted a bus. I stood in front and shared a short message with everyone and then handed out pamphlets. When we finished I was just about to get off when a lady gave me 1000 colones (or $2) and wouldn't let me give it back to her. So my comp started laughing and said, "nice job, you just sold your first pamphlet, and for $2!!!" jaja.

So yeah, that was my week. For questions or comments you can write me at hunter.black@myldsmail.com thank you!

Monday July 28th

Alrighty, well I'm just going to start. So on Monday we went with some new investigators, they're from El Salvador and they're pretty cool. They are very friendly and we had a good time. Then from there we had to run to get to a Family Home Evening in a member's house. They had invited another family (investigators!!!!) to listen to us. Finally, a reference from members!!!! Ush!!! So everything went well, we talked about the Holy Ghost and the member asks me, "And who gave the Holy Ghost to Jesus?" and I said, "Umm... God." and he goes on to explain that it was Peter jaja, after the lesson we were all confused and it turned out that he had just mixed up the stories in his head. But during the lesson he had left us speechless. Anyways, on Tuesday we went and put up a kiosk in the park... not very successful... and then we did divisions. I went to my area with Elder Herrera (from Argentina)... he's nuts jaja. In a good way. We were able to find a couple of new investigators including one who's name is Elder =) He even showed us his ID and it's true. Then we went to a less actives house where they all bugged my comp about his accent, it was fun. "Callate!!!" but with an accent from Argentina... you have to speak spanish to understand... sorry. And then finally our zone leaders got here to do the interview for Fabio... he passed!!!!!! We were able to have the baptism on Saturday, and my comp baptized him. Those were pretty much the highlights of the week. We found some new investigators, we did divisions and we had our baptism. The only problem was that Fabio thought that he was going to drown, he was a little nervous, but all turned out well. We did have to go on a wild search to found baptismal clothing to fit him jaja. You'll see why when I can send a photo.

But yeah, everything turned out well, things are going good here. We just have to keep going and hope for the best =) That's about it for this week, see y'all next week =)
